Location details
Easy to find on the A836, 2 miles from Bonar Bridge, heading north towards Lairg
A scenic route - very easy access to the NC500 and northern Highlands on the doorstep. Only 45 minutes drive from Inverness and Loch Ness. Rail service from Invershin (1 mile). Post code is IV24 3AW. Some Sat Nav's will drop you around 400 yards away towards Bonar bridge.

This road leads you straight into the wilderness Flow Country, north of Lairg and to the NC500. Or you can head to the west coast. It is a superb touring route and it is also used by those working in agriculture, fisheries and local construction. Outside of working hours, and at night, it is quiet with few vehicles. The Highlands are a working wilderness.
